|---|---|
| Logo | The Clearly Stated logo was designed by Mark at Eagle Imagery. He provides an efficient, professional, personal service. I have been using this logo since 2004 – and I haven't tired of it yet! |
| Photograph | My photograph – on the About page – was taken by Suzanne Fells of Suzanne Fells Photography. I have an intense hatred of having my photograph taken, and was extremely nervous about the whole process. Suzanne managed to get me to relax and took some fantastic pictures – the results speak for themselves. |
| Design | Mark Leary of Blu:72 designed my business cards and brochure covers, and did a fantastic job. He's also drawn some of the images for my training materials – the ones that needed a professional touch. Highly recommended. |
| Professional organisations | |
| ISTC | The Institute of Scientific and Technical Communicators – my own professional body. A source of advice, support and resources. If you're thinking of a career as a technical communicator, have a look at their Open Learning courses. |
| SfEP | The Society for Editors and Proofreaders |
| SI | The Society of Indexers |

| HTML/CSS | Use the W3C Markup Validation Service to check that your markup conforms to standards. |
| The CSS Validator will enable you to check that your CSS is valid. | |
| Colours | For a nicely laid out set of colours, with the ability to choose a couple and see how they look adjacent to each other, have a look at VisiBone. |
